If you want to try this cool rooftop, The Mama Shelter is open every day from 12 AM to 11.30 PM (you must book a table if you want to eat there).
The Grand Hôtel Night Beach
Situated in front of Bordeaux’s Grand Théâtre, The Grand Hôtel is the most exclusive hostel you will find in the city. It is a very fancy place, but its rooftop (the Night Beach) is accessible for free. If you want to enjoy a chill and fancy atmosphere, this place is certainly where you want to go. The roof is a unique rooftop. It is the only rooftop in Bordeaux with an empty swimming pool. This place has a very special atmosphere and moreover, provides a beautiful 360° view of Bordeaux. Located in Bacalan, very close to the Cité du Vin, this rooftop will make you Bordeaux in a different way. Only open during the summer, this place is very appreciated by Bordeaux students as well as the Mama Shelter. It is always lively and only opens during summer. On this rooftop, you will find a lot of cool events throughout the summer, a lot of different drinks, and of course music.

The Mercure Rooftop
The Mercure rooftop is a one-of-a-kind rooftop. It is basically a fancy place where you can take your breakfast or your coffee in the morning if you want to wake up at the same time as the city. Located at the Cité Mondiale, this rooftop is only open in the morning, from 6.30 AM till 10 AM, and you have to book it. This place will give you a very good view on Bordeaux’s quays.
